Abdelehemani Hassani KamaleAbdelehemani Hassani was born 1947 in Mindu/Nakapanya. He finished primary school and then worked on the crop fields. He moved to Dar es Salaam in 1973 and became a student of Kaspar H. Tedo, cousin and follower of E.S.Tingatinga.
In his artwork Hassani sticks to the classic Tingatinga tradition. The background ist mostly painted in one solid colour only. His favourite and most successful motive are birds with long tails.
