Helena LuogaHelena was born on July 11, 1982, in Dar es Salaam. Her mother is from Nakapanya and a relative of Omary Amonde.
Helena started painting at home first as a hobby. But during her education to become a kindergardener she took the opportunity to take art lessons. She made progress very fast and started her professional career as a student of Tingatinga artist Maida. She earns her living as a painter in the Tingatinga Cooperative, but would love to get further professional training.
Helena is a merry and cheerful young woman. She lives as a single, loves dancing and swimming and watching movies.
Helena's favourite motives are fish, and people like these masterly paintings.
